Since it was founded, the company originally known as Albin Business Centers has experienced steady and impressive growth while bringing top quality Konica office equipment, software and service to the Michigan market.

In 1965, Albin began as a family business in Birmingham, Michigan. In 2006, we celebrated the move to our corporate headquarters in Wixom, as well as our ever-growing offices in Grand Rapids, Lansing, Saginaw, Ann Arbor, Troy, Monroe, Toledo, Ohio and South Bend, Indiana.

In 1987, Albin was honored to be the largest Konica dealer in the United States, a distinction we maintained until 1995. That same year, Albin was acquired by Konica. Since then, we have merged with the Detroit Konica branch and also acquired businesses in the Grand Rapids area. Today, Konica Minolta Albin still maintains the exclusive title of best producing KMBS entity.

In 2003, Konica and Minolta merged to become Konica Minolta Business Technologies. Our new parent company is now Konica Minolta Business Solutions USA (KMBS). The merger has been fully completed and all products are now uniquely Konica Minolta-branded under the bizhub designation.

As part of this dynamic new corporation, we look forward to being a leader in overall growth in our marketplace. We are no longer just a supplier of copying equipment. Today we help our customers with networking, application software, office solutions and of course, the best hardware.
